Did you know that windshields cannot be recycled?
A typical windshield is made of 3 layers: glass - laminate - glass. It is very difficult and time consuming to separate these layers and recycle just the glass like you would with glass bottles or jars.
That is why, when a windshield is replaced, it ends up in a landfill. So, do the right thing and when you can, choose repair over replacement.
